We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with expertise in Xero to join our client's team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who has a passion for numbers and a track record of maintaining accurate financial records.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Working on payroll and managing invoices.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and conducting regular ledger checks.
  • Utilising Xero accounting software for financial reporting and management.
  • Preparing VAT returns and understanding financial regulations and legislation.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to support various tasks, including end-of-year accounts preparation.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and cash flow forecasts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications are desirable.
