Job Description

We are seeking a talented BI Snowflake Data & Reporting Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT team and play a key role in ensuring the security and reliability of our critical data.
You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with the opportunity to contribute to the realization of business-innovated products and capabilities.

  • Engage with key business stakeholders and manage data and reporting requirements throughout the design and development process.
  • Play a pivotal role in maintaining the security and reliability of critical data, ensuring that the organization's operations remain uninterrupted.

Essential skills and experiences include:

  • A degree-level education with extensive industry experience in ETL pipeline and data warehouse development.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud Data Platform (Snowflake), ETL (Informatica), and Oracle (PL/SQL for migration).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering full project development life cycle and implementations using Agile & Waterfall methods.
  • Solid understanding of Datamodelling and development in Snowflake, ETL/ELT technologies in Informatica, and best practices in the industry.
  • Experience with data warehouse solution design using Kimball & Inmon methodologies, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and big data concepts.

Preferred qualifications for this role:

  • Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the UK utility market.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of Python, Spark & Machine Learning, REST API, and database tuning (Oracle, Snowflake).
