The company is customer-focused, continually evolving their extensive product range to meet the needs of civil infrastructure, agriculture, and building customers across the UK and Ireland. The team are looking for an experienced Batching Coordinator to join their team and oversee batching operations.
Your new role
As a Batching Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day batching process, ensuring that concrete is mixed and delivered efficiently to meet production schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the batching process, adjusting priorities as needed, ensuring accurate proportioning of raw materials, and maintaining detailed records of batching activities. You will lead, train, and manage the batching team, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001). Additionally, you will coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all batching equipment is regularly serviced and maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience in a batching, quarry plant, or concrete manufacturing environment. You should have a strong understanding of concrete batching, quality control, and plant operations, along with experience in managing, training, and developing a team. Familiarity with ISO standards and workplace safety regulations, as well as strong record-keeping and documentation skills, are essential. The ability to troubleshoot batching plant equipment and coordinate with multiple departments to meet production goals is also crucial.
