Bank Care Assistant - North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and Glasgow

We are looking for a Bank Care Assistants who are dedicated to make a difference. As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary. PLEASE NOTE: NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE.

Role Overview:

As a Care Worker at Easdale Healthcare, you will provide person-centered support to Service Users, ensuring their dignity, respect, and comfort. The role requires compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Uphold the values of dignity and respect, promoting independence and choice for Service Users.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations, fostering a safe environment.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and communication skills appropriate to the role.
  • SVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable).
  • Relevant training in COSHH, Health & Safety, and Moving & Handling (desirable).

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a care environment (essential).
  • Experience supporting individuals with additional needs (desirable).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development and learning.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to individual needs.
