Senior Physiotherapist - Bank - Outpatients weekdays/evenings

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Department at West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. The post will require you to work in the outpatient department 1 or 2 days a week / evenings. This is a bank position.

The Hospital has a 30 bedded mixed inpatient case load which includes orthopaedics, gynae and general surgery. The newly refurbed Physiotherapy department has 4 private treatment cubicles, large gymnasium and team office. The outpatient work consists of private patients, GP referrals, self-referrals and NHS patients. Hydrotherapy and Pilates services are also run through the physiotherapy department at offsite clinics.

If interested in working in outpatients: the ideal candidate will need to be experienced and competent in Musculoskeletal outpatient assessment and treatments. Acupuncture skills are preferable, but not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness to work positively and effectively within a team environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to participate in clinical audit and utilise outcome measures

West Midlands Hospital is a leading private Hospital set in pleasant grounds at Colman Hill, West Midlands. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Halesowen and only three miles from junction 3 of the M5 and 10 miles from Birmingham city centre, we offer the highest standards of clinical and personal care across a multitude of specialities.
