Azure Data Engineer - Mid or Senior

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and a passion for building scalable data solutions. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing enterprise-level BI and Data Warehousing systems, using cutting-edge Microsoft and Azure technologies.
Key details:
Salary: £50,000-75,000 + bonus
Location: Remote-based + Leicester tech hub
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply 5+ years of experience in T-SQL programming and utilising all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Develop and improve Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Design and implement traditional Microsoft BI / Data Warehousing solutions for large enterprises.
- Work with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Analysis Services (DAX).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate effectively within Agile teams and fully understand agile development practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
