Job Description:
We are looking for an Avaloq Solution Architect to join our Avaloq Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Banking and Diversified Financials Practice, serving a Private Bank. You will play an active role in defining practices, standards, and ways of working, ensuring they are applied in your role. You'll collaborate across teams and boundaries to bring the best solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert Avaloq knowledge to enable delivery teams.
• Work with Avaloq delivery teams to translate end-user requirements into system/application requirements.
• Review and assess requirements documents provided by clients.
• Design integration, customization, and configuration solutions on the Avaloq banking platform.
• Act as a Technical SME for Avaloq, addressing technical queries and providing solutions.
• Transition designs to development and testing teams to enable delivery.
• Mentor and guide developers and testers on Avaloq delivery and technical architecture in line with Barclays' functional requirements.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios using Orbium TestMaster, managing integration and system testing.
• Configure Avaloq for banking products, securities, derivatives, forex products, structured products, and money market products.
• Own the Functional & Technical specifications and Test artefacts created by the team.
• Conduct functional & technical training on Avaloq.

• 5+ years' experience as an Avaloq Solution Architect in large organizations.
• At least 10+ years of experience, preferably in Banking and Wealth Management, with at least 3 years in a Technical Solution Architect role.
• Expertise in other Core & Wealth management solutions such as Intellect Wealth Management, Temenos WealthSuite, or Finacle Wealth Management is a plus.
• Strong analysis skills with wealth banking expertise, including in-depth knowledge of wealth products such as securities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives, forex, and money market products.
• Understanding of the Wealth Management and Private Banking ecosystem, including custodians, depositories, brokers, and registrars.

• Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
• Confident, articulate, and able to build relationships with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams.
