This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient & effective automated operation of our manufacturing systems for a contract-period of 12 months, with the possibility to be extended.

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer MES - DeltaV for our pharmaceuticals company in Valais, Switzerland! This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient & effective automated operation of our manufacturing systems for a contract-period of 12 months, with the possibility to be extended.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Program and manage DeltaV (Distributed Control System) during the run-in, qualification, and production phases.
- Identify and address security & compliance/GMP risks.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and IT departments in designing processes and process improvements.
- Help to ensure cGMP-compliant documentation and adherence to the regulatory and compliance guidelines within control systems.
- Degree or training in fields of biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, biopharmaceutcal sciences or a similar field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry working with MES SYNC and/or DeltaV systems.
- Fluent German & English skills.
- Ability to identify and address security or compliance/GMP risks and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Must be eligible to work across the EU.
