Job Title: Automation Application Developer (AVP)
Location: London (3 Days On-Site)
Rate: £400/day (Umbrella) - Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
Are you an experienced Automation Application Developer with a passion for RPA (Robotic Process Automation)? We are seeking a skilled developer to join a dynamic team and drive the implementation of RPA solutions. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain complex automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test automation workflows, supporting RPA solution implementation.
- Work closely with RPA Business Analysts to execute RPA initiatives, including process design, testing, and implementation.
- Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD) throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis for RPA incidents and process exceptions.
- Develop reliable robotic processes using custom frameworks and REFramework.
- Integrate peripheral functions with C#.NET to reconcile data and generate reports in various formats (PDF, Excel, SSRS).
- Develop SQL scripts for data analysis and function execution across SQL Server and Oracle platforms.
- Collaborate with C# developers to ensure seamless integration and data processing within the system.
- Conduct production support, troubleshooting, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist with the deployment of RPA solutions and provide ongoing support for existing processes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in C# .NET & SQL development, particularly with Windows applications.
- Extensive experience in UiPath RPA technologies, including creating at least 20 processes of varying complexity.
- Strong knowledge of RPA solution design, unattended robot development, and experience with Citrix platforms.
- Experience with UiPath Orchestrator (publishing, creating assets, triggers, queues).
- Familiarity with financial services, including understanding key business functions and systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Financial services experience.
- WPF development.
- Experience in API automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and able to take responsibility for tasks and initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask across multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Education and Certifications:
- University degree (preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields).
- UiPath Academy Advanced Certification (RPA Developer Level 1 Foundation, Level 2 Orchestrator, Level 3 Advanced Training).
Additional Information:
- Emergency or out-of-office hour support (early morning/late-night) when required.
- Potential weekend support for urgent issues.
