About the team

Our specialist Industry &Services team provide audit services tocompanies listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 350, Small Cap,and Fledgling), AIM, and large companies/groups with turnover ofmore than £150m. The team also work closely with overseasteams to audit UK based subsidiaries of major globalgroups.

About therole

• Assistingand advising the audit team on the formulation of audit strategyand planning.
• Managing and controlling auditassignments from planning through to finalisation of reports inline with agreed timescales.
• Controlling timespent and monitoring actual time within budget.
• Acting as a point of contact for engagement leads andclients, ensuring both are kept fully informed of any issuesarising and the progress of the audit.
• Ensurestandards and procedures maintained by whole team and completeaudit file presented with review points cleared.

What are we lookingfor?

• ACA / CA / ACCA(or equivalent) qualification.

• Experience of leading external audits from planningthrough to completion.
• Relevant industry andservices sector audit experience.
• Up to datetechnical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
• Experience of managing, training and coaching audittrainees.
