Purpose of the Role:

As a qualified Accountant, Managers in our Audit division are required to lead teams on a range of Audit assignments with a particular focus on corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audits from planning through to fieldwork and completion, ensuring assignments are completed within the agreed budget.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients during on-site fieldwork and address client queries post fieldwork.
  • Manage on-site teams, supervise junior staff, and provide training as needed, ensuring work is
  • allocated according to team members' skills and development needs.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements from client management accounts.
  • Research and propose solutions to technical issues for review by Partners/Directors.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and promptly communicate potential issues to the partner.
  • Identify opportunities where other services offered by the firm can meet client business needs.
  • Manage work in progress and billing for client assignments.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
  • Experience with complex groups, reporting structures, and liaising with component auditors is highly desirable.

  • Work with companies and groups up to £100m in revenue, including international businesses and listed companies.
