Key Responsibilities of the Associate Director role:
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of projects, including residential, schools, and commercial developments
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while staying within budget
- Provide technical leadership to the electrical design team and collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders
- Use Amtech and Dialux software for design and analysis of electrical systems
- Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide mentorship and support to foster development
- Ensure all projects comply with the latest building regulations and industry standards
The ideal Associate Director will:
- Proven experience in electrical design within residential, school, and commercial projects
- Proficient in Amtech and Dialux, with a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Relevant engineering qualifications and professional certifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
