We have a unique opportunity for an experienced herdsperson who wants to progress to the next level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of the dairy unit when the manager is off and carry out all tasks required of them on a day-day basis. There is great job variation, with all cow stock work, some tractor driving and calf rearing.
The 250 Friesian / Holstein cows are milked through new Lely Astronaut robots; cubicle housed all year round and fed a full TMR. All youngstock is also reared on the same unit.
This varied and interesting role comes with a lovely centrally heated 3-bedroom house within easy walking distance of the farm and very close to good schools and amenities.
