Job Description

Full-time. Salary dependent on experience

We are seeking an outstanding, experienced candidate to join our successful school which caters for Key Stage 2 pupils. The post-holder should either have achieved the SENCO qualification or working towards the qualification, with relevant experience.

Winterbourne Boys' Academy was recently rated a 'Good' school by Ofsted in March 2022.

The ideal candidate should be a strong teacher, practitioner and leader, with up-to-date knowledge and experience of SEND. The candidate will have the skills and expertise to drive support for pupils in order to raise achievement and expectations, as well as wider school improvement. The post-holder will also be required to teach as part of their role and as directed. They will also have a commitment to the work ethic and ethos of the school and the Platanos Trust.
