Assistant Headteacher - Teaching & Learning

This is a full time all year round position .

The Role:

As Assistant Headteacher - Teaching & Learning, you will:

• Lead the teaching and learning strategy, ensuring high standards across all curriculum areas.
• Oversee staff development, supporting and coaching teachers to excel in their practice.
• Work with the Trust to implement Growing Great Schools & Growing Great Teachers programmes.
• Lead on home learning policies and the professional development of early career teachers.
• Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and curriculum design.
• Foster a culture of high expectations, where students and staff are encouraged to go beyond their best.

Who We re Looking For:

• A proven Middle or Senior Leader, with experience in curriculum design, staff development, and raising achievement.
• A strong communicator who can inspire, motivate, and empower staff and students.
• Someone with excellent knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, assessment, and best practices.
• A leader who embodies resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
• A team player who believes in the power of collaboration to drive improvement.
