Hays Northern Ireland are delighted to have partnered with a global Facilities Management provider to source an Asset Manager for their Belfast team who will ensure the client's building assets provide value and support to their core business.
Your new role
This is a permanent position based from the company's office in South Belfast. You will work on a hybrid basis between the office, the site and your home, with a minimum expectation to be in the office 1 day per week.Reporting to the Senior Asset Surveyor, you will work with a team of 3 other Asset Managers and will be supported by a trainee and a CAD/Document coordinator.The purpose of the role is to ensure the client's assets provide value to their core business. This will be achieved by the development, deployment, management and continual improvement of the asset management framework. The target is to create a deep understanding of the client's estate that will enable the client to lower risk and cost of ownership and meet their strategic and tactical business objectives.Some of the main duties include:Review and update the Asset Register database with all relevant information from Works Contractor Maintenance operations and PMI's.Review and update the Asset Register database with all relevant information obtained from Asset Inspection Reports, including identification of any differences between previous data and new updates.Review the Asset Register to include the assessed maintenance standard of each Asset against the requirement detailed in the Affected Property and Infrastructure Prioritisation Produce monthly and annual Asset update reports.Utilise Asset Register data to integrate and co-ordinate responsive actions with other services provisions including, but not limited to: • Response Maintenance;• Planned Preventative Maintenance;• Maintenance Backlog;• Projects.A full job description is available on request.
