Are you a creative and practical individual with a passion for the arts and technology? Join our vibrant and supportive team at School Name , a well-regarded secondary school in Leicester, as our new Art and Design Technology (DT) Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Art and DT departments by preparing and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials for lessons.
  • Assist teaching staff with the setup of practical activities, ensuring all resources are ready for use.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in workshops, studios, and classrooms.
  • Provide technical support to students during practical lessons, guiding them in the safe use of equipment and materials.
  • Manage the inventory of supplies, ordering materials as needed.
  • Assist in the development of creative displays and exhibitions of students' work around the school.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and traditional workshop tools.
