Arable Communications and Engagement Manager - North East & Yorkshire (Homebased) - LH446

I am looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to join a well-known research group, focused on providing the agricultural sector with the knowledge and information to operate at optimum production and profitability. You will be tasked with holding farmer focused talks, attending industry events and presenting company research/knowledge to technical groups.

This role is homebased and you will be travelling throughout your territory, the ideal person will be someone who is self motivated with the drive to promote the business, share information and provide the best service to paying members.

The ideal person will:

• Have a strong practical background, you will need an affinity with the rural community and the ability to form relationships.

• Be highly motivated, driven and able to manage your own workload.

• A relevant degree at BSc or above, those with foundation degrees and a strong practical background would also be considered. It is essential to have an understanding of the UK arable sector in particular cereals and OSR.

• FACTS and/or BASIS would be advantageous.

• Be confident in presenting to large groups- this could be through university or young farmers potentially.

In return you will be rewarded with a strong remuneration package to include car allowance of £6600 per annum.
