Our client is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join their development team, where the core functionalities of the client's app and Internet Banking website are developed and maintained.
The role will focus on building and improving the Android app's features and infrastructure, ensuring high-quality code, and driving innovation within the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing shared libraries and frameworks to enable efficient feature development across the team.
- Researching new technologies and innovative solutions to improve the app and its functionality.
- Contributing to guild work and collaborative team initiatives to enhance the collective knowledge and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage shared libraries/frameworks: Implement and maintain shared libraries and frameworks that ensure efficient feature development and consistency across the app.
- Research and innovation: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in Android development, contributing to improvements and innovative approaches within the team.
- Guild contribution: Engage with guild activities, sharing knowledge and fostering team growth through presentations, hackathons, and collaborative learning.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 8 years' experience as an Android Developer
- Proficiency in Kotlin
- Deep expertise in modular architecture
- Comprehensive knowledge of testing practices
- Innovation and adaptability in adopting new technologies
- Coaching capabilities to guide and mentor junior developers
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Familiarity with Firebase products
- Experience with Koin
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes
