AI Security Architect - London/Hybrid - 12-month Contract
My client, a leading global broadcating company is looking for a Security Architect with a strong foundation in security, who has spent the last 2-3 years working deeply with AI platforms, models, and ecosystems. You will be our in-house expert in assessing and designing secure AI systems-from foundational models and ML pipelines to GenAI integrations and LLM APIs.
This is a key strategic role, reporting into the Head of Security Architecture, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Legal teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and lead secure design of AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, and GenAI integrations.
Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments for AI workloads and associated infrastructure.
Evaluate and enforce secure use of third-party AI services (eg, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).
Develop and maintain AI security standards, policies, and guardrails in collaboration with engineering and compliance.
Stay abreast of emerging risks in AI systems-model poisoning, prompt injection, data leakage-and translate them into practical mitigations.
Champion privacy-by-design and ethical AI principles across our AI product development life cycle.
Support AI-related security reviews (internal and third-party) and partner with procurement/legal on AI vendor risk assessments.
Contribute to AI incident response playbooks and tooling for AI misuse or model compromise.
Skills & Experience
Required:
Proven experience as a Security Architect or similar senior security role.
2-3+ years of hands-on security work related to AI/ML systems (eg, securing LLMs, data pipelines, MLOps, GenAI tools).
Deep understanding of AI/ML development workflows and deployment architectures (cloud-native, on-prem, hybrid).
Familiarity with security risks unique to AI systems: adversarial ML, prompt injection, data privacy leakage, model integrity.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
Experience with Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, API security, and DevSecOps pipelines.
Desirable:
Understanding of AI governance, model explainability, and regulatory trends (eg, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
Familiarity with popular AI frameworks/tools (eg, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, MLflow).
Prior experience in a regulated or content-driven industry (media, financial services, healthcare).
