Job Description

Interim P2P Accounts Payable Manager (German language skills) - Bracknell based (hybrid) with travel - 6-month contract - £225 - £275pd (inside IR35)

Are you an experienced AP Manager within a corporate P2P environment? Are you fluent in German? Have you driven process standardisation improvement across P2P workstreams?

This opportunity for an interim P2P Accounts Payable Manager within a global brand plays well for these skills. You will have responsibility for the German and Austrian regions in driving P2P process standardisation and optimisation, working with the Process Owner, shared service centre teams and business leaders to drive best practice and AI-led automation. Excellent stakeholder engagement is therefore required, as is German language fluency. Travel will be required to Germany and other European countries approx once per month.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable - Review P2P KPIs & SLAs to identify operational efficiencies, drive process improvement and improved ways of working; Act as a subject matter expert for all P2P systems and operations; support invoice query resolution.
  • Project Support - Provide regional insights to support transformation project teams; act as a regional subject matter expert; Champion regional change
  • Management BPO P2P - Support P2P month-end reconciliation process; review and sign off BPO P2P operational process documentation
  • Policy review and management

Skills & Experience:

  • German language fluency - spoken and written, essential
  • Previous management experience in international corporate P2P operations is required
  • Experience using SAP FI/MM and intermediate/advanced Excel and PC skills required
  • COUPA and Concur experience is desirable
  • Experience in a corporate offshore shared service environment
  • Effective organiser with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Demonstratable ability to build effective working relationships
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
