Accounts Payable Assistant (Design Studio)

About The Role:

The Crowd are working with a social, friendly and highly desirable international interior design studio that is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support their finance function.

This is a newly created role where you will support the Head of Finance across the full accounts payable function. The position will ensure the accurate and timely recording of all expenditure, manage payment runs, ensure supplier accounts are fully reconciled, and other finance related tasks. The ideal person will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a creative environment and will thrive in a busy and social design studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, expenses and credit card expenditure in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled at all times
• Manage any supplier account queries
• Produce timely payment runs and post payments to supplier ledgers
• Work with the wider team to ensure projects are reconciled weekly
• Provide other financial support to the HOF where required

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role ideally within the design/creative industry
• Exposure to foreign exchange is highly beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Office specifically Excel
• Keen eye for detail and meticulous
• Able to communicate well at all levels
• Approachable, friendly and team orientated in your approach
