Job Description
Experienced AP Assistant required for organisation in Southampton

Your new company
You will be working for a large organisation in Southampton seeking an AP professional to join their finance team.
Your new role

  • Input purchase ledger invoices on to the accounts database
  • Download all utility invoices and process onto the purchase ledge
  • Set up purchase ledger accounts
  • Manage and maintain the accounts payable email account
  • Process vehicle delivery/auction costs onto the vehicle database
  • Reconcile purchase ledger accounts to monthly supplier statements
  • Code purchase ledger invoices to match with budgetary requirements
  • Process payments through the company account ensuring the correct VAT receipts are provided.
  • Prepare Vehicle and Supplier Payments
  • Process daily BACS payments
  • Process daily finance settlements
  • Process Staff expenses onto the accounts database
What you'll need to succeed
  • Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK finance team.
  • Experience working in an Accounts Payable role
