Job Description
Working in Taunton, our client is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Working for a leading professional services firm in Taunton, Somerset who have a growing customer base.
Your new role
Working at head office within the finance team you will undertake the following duties for your clients;

  • Inputting expenses, invoices, credit notes and other journals.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing payment runs
  • Dealing with multiple client and supplier queries
  • Coding invoices to the General Ledger and cost centres
  • Reviewing aged creditors
  • Liaising with auditors at year-end
  • Payroll
  • Liaise with clients regarding queries
  • Complete anti-money laundering process for new and existing clients
  • What you'll need to succeed
    Working with a range of different clients you will need to be flexible and show great initiative. Previous accounting experience is a must, ideally you will be AAT Level 4 qualified and be familiar with personal and business tax regulations, VAT and PAYE.
