We are representing a dynamic global provider of insurance solutions. Our client, based in the heart of Brighton, offers a hybrid working model that blends both collaborative office work and flexible remote work. They are transforming insurance for the on-demand economy with substantial backing and exciting growth plans.
They are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their Brighton team on a hybrid basis (with 2-3 days in the office). This is a temporary cover position with a minimum of three months and has a high possibility of developing into a permanent one for the right candidate.

The Requirements

- Must be available immediately for up to 3 months.
- Have experience with accounts payable and receivable.
- Are skilled in MS Excel and detail oriented.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with tools like Expensify or Sage Intacct is a plus.
- This role will be starting this month so you must be available to start in the next 2 weeks.
The Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage payment runs.
- Oversee employee reimbursements and support month-end/year-end activities.
- Assist with various finance projects and ad hoc requests.
