Job Description

We are seeking a 4D BIM Coordinator to join or team on aMajor Project at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth, Devon where we arerefurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard. The successful candidate willbe a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continuededucation on Digital Construction Technologies. Experienced in 3D,4D modelling, working with planers and designers to bring theproject to life. Capable of visualizing complex problems andarticulating them on screen and off. Checking and validating modelsto and from the client/ designers.

Due to the site being a high Security MilitaryNaval base, additional security checks will need to be made - BPSSlevel of security clearance is required. These checks can take upto 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, orMISWG member passports and have been a UK residence for the last 5years can be considered for this role.

Location: DevonportDockyard, Plymouth

Hours: Permanent, Full Timeagile work available but must be able to commute tosite

Responsibilities

As a 4D BIM Coordinator you'll be workingwithin the Nuclear Devonport team, supporting them in thedockyard redevelopment.

Your day to day will include:

  • Effectively communicate with allstakeholders and work closely with the senior project managementteam to ensure a value-added approach to digital isrealized.
  • Represent the company where necessary at internal andexternal meetings.
    • Ensure that all modelling work iscarried out in compliance with ISO 19650, BAM and CADstandards.
  • Produce high end visualisations to aid decision makingand facilitate onsite construction.
    • Become the point of authority forall Synchro 4D pro Projects. Assist and train DigitalConstruction Technicians and Modellers wheneverrequired.

What are we lookingfor?

This role of 4D BIM Coordinator is great for youif:

  • Have good understanding of civil/structural design andprinciples.
  • Strong interest in 3D-4D design, modelling and creatingimmersive models.
    • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD,Synchro 4D pro.
  • Posses a high level of visualisation techniques (Framing,Colour, Contrast, Symmetry etc).
    • Knowledge and use of model codingfor planning purposes within the 3D and 4Dmodel.
