3rd Line IT Support Engineer - £45k basic - London

3rd Line IT Support Engineer required for my leading IT MSP client based in Central London.

This opportunity offers a salary of £45k basic and hybrid working after 6 months (3 days in the London office and 2 days from home).

The role:

1- Recent and relevant demonstrable 3rd Line/Third Line IT Support experience

2- Act as a point of escalation and support for the 2nd line support team.

3- Technical Support and Troubleshooting; as the final escalation stage for the 2nd Line support team, resolving complex technical tickets.

The tech:

- Knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory and Hyper-V.

- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD.

- Knowledge of Cisco Meraki stack.

- knowledge of Google Workspace.

- Good hardware and networking knowledge.

- Automating processes and procedures to help improve efficiency and standardisation across platforms.

- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows and macOS).

- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Expertise in cloud services (Azure).

- Good understanding of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
