VIQU has partnered with a tech-forward public sector organisation dedicated to upkeeping and enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their community.
They are seeking a passionate 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their small IT team of three. In this role, you will provide technical support to the user base while assisting with the wider network and infrastructure. Working in a small team will offer you ample opportunities to learn and develop, as you'll gain exposure to technologies that you may not otherwise encounter.
Essential Requirements of the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
- Experience working in an MSP (Managed Service Provider)
- 3+ years in an IT support role with robust 2nd line support capabilities, including diagnosing and resolving issues on both Microsoft and Mac operating systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Server operating systems and associated technologies such as Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Office 365, and Active Directory, including implementation and administration of AD, GPO, and RDS.
- Experience with Virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Knowledgeable about cloud services, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Experience with Intune and implementing IT solutions, along with basic networking knowledge and an understanding of Switches, Firewalls, TCP/IP, and routing.
- Excellent communication abilities.
