Nelson Educare is an initiative by Nelson College London offering high-quality tuition for its students' children. We cater to students of all levels up to KS4, specialising in 11 Plus and GCSE and covering core subjects including Mathematics, English, and Sciences. Our programme is designed to support student parents who wish to enhance both their own and their children's educational experience. We are committed to providing a supportive and effective learning environment to help families achieve their academic goals.

We are seeking reliable and dedicated GCSE and 11 Plus Tutors/Teachers with a strong commitment and passion to education. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to engage effectively with students and parents. Key responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
• Developing termly lesson plans to outline and guide the teaching process.
• Monitoring student progress to ensure the development of each student.
• Managing small class sizes of up to 5 students effectively, using initiative to engage and motivate children.
• Consistently setting homework and marking students' work.
• Offering personalised support to address the unique needs of each student.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in teaching/tutoring
• Strong GCSEs and A Levels
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree (preferred)
• Flexible (evenings and weekends)
• Passion for education
• Working together in a team
• Punctual and organised
