SIMS Data Manager School Based

We are seeking a SIMS Data Manager to oversee student data within SIMS, providing essential support in exam analysis, report preparation, and management of information systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of school data processes and the ability to start work at 8.00am, with flexibility during peak times.

• Manage all student data within SIMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with exam analysis and the preparation of detailed reports.
• Prepare SIMS data for each reporting session and manage linked data and information systems.
• Stay updated with ongoing developments within SIMS and undertake associated training.
• Work collaboratively with the Exams Officer and support their activities.
• Engage with all members of the school community and external agencies to maintain data integrity.

• Excellent technical administration and IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate data.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
• Previous experience using SIMS or a similar school data management system is preferable.
• The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.
