As part of ourcontinued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a SENTeaching Assistant to join our close-knit team at Papworth HallSchool, part of Options Autism.

  • Papworth Hall School, Papworth Everard,Cambridgeshire

  • £22,300.00 perannum

  • 40hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am -4pm

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you willconnect directly with the brilliant pupils that we care for,helping to make sure they get the very best from their education.Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additionalneeds. They have so much potential, and they will rely on you toguide their learning journeys bespoke to them.

You will help prepare learning materials and run classroomactivities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervisiontoo. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physicalneeds, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage withthe world.

You will face challenges and overcomethem as you flourish and thrive, sharing your skills and learningfrom others as your career takes you as high as you always dreamedyou could go.

Every day will be different, butyou will have all the support you need, with lots of skills andexperience to draw on along with valuable advice and guidancetoo.

Essential

  • Written examples of knowledge of SEN needs andautism.

  • Experience with SEN(highly desirable)
