Project Administrator

You will be working for a company which is growing rapidly within the energy sector. This company is based in the south of Birmingham.
Your new role
As a Project Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the project team by organising and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes to ensure effective communication and follow-up. You will maintain and update project documentation, including contracts and reports, and prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders. Your role will involve monitoring project timelines and milestones to ensure the project stays on track. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks, which may include ordering supplies, managing project files, and assisting with the preparation of presentations and other project materials. Your efforts will help keep the project organised, within budget, and aligned with its goals, contributing to the overall success of the project.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, as you will act as the point of contact for all project participants and communicate the project status. In addition to this, you may need to liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. You must have prior experience within project management as you will co-ordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information. You must have IT proficiency as you will be preparing, organising and maintaining project documentation, including contracts and change orders. You will also be creating and updating workflows and providing documentation to internal teams and stakeholders.
