Salary: NJC 3 (Actual Salary £4,063 )+ well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

Hours: 7.5 per week, 38 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed term (Aug 2025)
Start date: January 2025

We are seeking two Midday Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our pupils have a safe, nourishing and welcoming lunchtime experience.

As a Midday Assistant you will:

  • Supervise play: Organise engaging activities for children aged 3-11.
  • Promote positive behaviour: Encourage respectful and appropriate behaviour during lunchtime.
  • Ensure safety and well-being: Monitor children's safety and well-being in the playground and dining hall.
  • Foster social skills: Help children develop problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Creative and engaging: Able to inspire and motivate children.
  • Organised and reliable: Can manage responsibilities effectively.
  • A team player: Works well with colleagues and collaborates effectively.

About our school:
Plumberow Primary Academy is a large three form entry primary academy in Hockley. We are a welcoming academy situated in a lovely setting, which is well resourced and has fantastic children and supportive parents.
