A hugely successful and highly regarded manufacturer based near beautiful Richmond, North Yorkshire, has a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics and Customer Services Apprentice.
Your new role:

Processing import and export orders

Following relevant government export procedures

Working with relevant authorities

Understanding customs processes

working with 3rd party logistics providers

Collecting batch specific paperwork for export process

Updating stock reconciliations

Learn the dispatching process

Updating and maintaining data onto a computer system whilst ensuring stock availability and ensuring the correct products are dispatched to customer orders.

Good communication with internal and external customers

Supporting and helping out in the department

Levels of responsibility:

Ability to work independently

Ownership of the Log and its Accuracy

Coordination of data across the team

What you'll need to succeed:

Good computer skills

Good communication skills

Ability to prioritise workload

Team player with the ability to work as part of a team to get the job done

Initiative - thinking of ways to improve the job rather than waiting for it to happen
