We are currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our technology practice as a Lead Quantitative Developer. This role will focus on mathematical modelling, risk management, and regulatory-driven projects within a high-performing investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5-7 consultants with a focus on mathematical modelling and risk management.

• Create and implement an economic capital model across various asset classes.

• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

• Upskill and mentor junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

• Oversee market risk modelling and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Basel II/III).

• Lead and contribute to the development of modelling solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Required Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in risk management and modelling, with at least 5-6 years of leadership experience.

• Strong background in market risk modelling, particularly related to economic capital and asset class models.

• Expertise in Python (coding team support will be available).

• Proven experience leading and managing teams in high-stakes environments.

• Experience with Basel II/III frameworks and regulatory-driven projects.

• Ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations and deliver impactful results in a greenfield environment.
