Key Stage 1 Teacher - Doncaster (DN5)

Hours: 8am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday (Full Time)Start Date: 4th November 2024Pay Rate: £120 - £170 per day (Dependent on Experience)Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher looking for a rewarding, long-term opportunity in the DN5 area of Doncaster? Career Teachers is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join a friendly, supportive primary school on a full-time basis.Job Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff. Support the emotional and social development of students, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events. Ensure that safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.Skills and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) students, ideally within a UK school setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners. Experience in teaching phonics, with a strong understanding of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with a commitment to the overall well-being of pupils.
