As part of our continuedgrowth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedICT Teacher to join our close-knit team atLongdon Hall School in Lichfield. Someone whotakes a more creative approach to teaching would be perfect forthis role.

Salary: Up to £36,925.00 perannum dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent, Term Timeonly

Hours: 37.5 hours hoursper week, Monday - Friday

About theRole

The ICT Teacher will successfullyset a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident inusing their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, giveregular feedback and encouraging our pupils to take a responsibleand conscientious attitude to their own work and study. Theywill also provide intervention support as and whererequired.

We are particularly interested incandidates from a teaching or SEN teaching backgrounds. As a classteacher you will seek ways to positively engage with and motivatepupils through lessons that promote learning and raise levels ofattainment.

We are looking for a QualifiedTeacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more timedeveloping creative learning opportunities for the most reluctantand troubles learners.

Whilst previousexperience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable,excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personalqualities and levels of resilience are just as important. This role is not suitable for anECT.

  • Ability to use ICT effectively and creatively,for teaching

  • Understanding of the curriculum in order forsuccessful planning and delivery

  • The ability to manage challenging behavioureffectively
