England Country Director Vacancy

Hybrid working, central office in Chesterfield, with frequent travel nationwide

Full-time (35 hours pw)

Starting salary: £49,000 (negotiable dependent upon experience)

The Association for Real Change (ARC) is a UK-wide umbrella body representing service providers and people who use services in the learning disability and autism sector, with offices in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We want communities to celebrate difference, respect, listen to, and include everyone. Our purpose is to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism or other support needs and their families by:
  • Leading the delivery of ARC's Vision, Mission and Aims in England.
  • Sharing collective responsibly for the effective leadership and governance of ARC across the UK.
An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Country Director to lead ARC in England, reporting into a Board of Trustees (Non-Executive Directors) the post holder will have experience as an Executive Leader/Director, ideally have knowledge of the Adult Social Care Sector and be responsible for the daily management and operations of the organisation.

You will be motivated, forward thinking and have high-level communication and influencing skills, strategic vision and the drive to deliver its commitment to improve the lives of people with a learning disability and/or autism. To do this successfully, the ability to build key relationships with providers, government departments and key stakeholders is critical.
