One of our partnership primary schools is looking for a Year 5 class teacher from April 2025 until the end of the academic year to take over full time teaching responsibilities while the current class teacher goes on maternity leave.
Your new role
The Wirral primary school we are supporting with the recruitment of a Year 5 class teacher is a one-form entry primary school which was graded 'good' in their last Ofsted inspection. This Year 5 primary class teaching role involves:
- leading all teaching, learning and assessment for your class with the help of 1 full time teaching assistant and another TA who comes to support on a rota with other classes across the school
- closely following school policies including the behaviour policy to ensure effective teaching and learning takes place
- working as part of the wider school team to promote the schools core values and community feel
