As a Technical Buyer for Aftermarket Operations, you'll take the lead in sourcing essential spare parts for the company's trucks. In this role, you'll manage international and regional suppliers to ensure that service agreements are properly met. Your scope of work covers the EMEA region.

As part of a dynamic team, you'll work alongside colleagues, each focusing on specific purchasing responsibilities. Together, you will define your focus area based on your strengths and interests.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and supporting Aftermarket Operations sourcing strategies
  • Negotiating prices and terms aligned with objectives
  • Managing business relationships with suppliers, including handling escalations
  • Implementing global procurement programs, including Annual Cost Reviews, Annual Process Reviews, Annual Scorecards
  • Supporting new product development projects
  • Negotiating part phase-outs to ensure a smooth supply continuity

Supporting Aftermarket Operations profit and market share growth plans

Functie-eisen
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, coupled with 2-3 years expertise in procurement, additional training in Nevi 1 is an advantage.
  • Experience in a technical environment is a plus
  • Focus on excellence and commitment, continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in English is key for effective communication with the global network, Dutch is a plus

As part of the team, you will go directly on contract with our client, enjoying the following terms of employment (CAO metalektro):

  • Salary range from €4600 and €5700 gross per month (8% holiday allowance included)
  • 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days
