Salary: £22,300 perannum

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday8.20am - 5pm, Tuesday - Friday 8.20am - 4pm

Contract: Permanent,Term Time Only

We are looking for anexperienced Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team atLamledge School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support ourTeachers to take a creative approach to teaching pupils accordingto their educational needs, maximising pupils' achievement, andability to develop.

This is a great opportunityfor a Teaching Assistant who is looking to start or continue theircareer in Education and is motivated to inspire learning in pupilswith varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging andrewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a schoolwhere we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils arelistened to, respected and involved in as many decisions aspossible.

When it comes to looking after ourpupils, we never settle for second best. We are looking for aTeaching Assistant, who can work with individual and small groupsof pupils, preparing classrooms and materials, and buildingpositive relationships with pupils to promote interaction andlearning. Our Teaching Assistants offer essential support to ourTeachers and have the opportunity to assist in the planning anddelivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting.

Whilst previous experience of working in an SENenvironment would be desirable, excellent support skills and theright motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience arejust as important. These roles are ideal for people working incustomer facing industries including retail, hospitality, andleisure, looking for a new role that makes a real difference topupils' lives and futures.

Educated to GCSE grade C orabove in Maths and English, you will be calm, engaging, resilient,enjoy working as part of a team, and be genuinely motivated byhelping every pupil to reach their potential.
