Programme Coordinator, NLA
NLA is seeking a highly motivated Programme Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our innovative and enterprising Programme Team, delivering our busy programme of events, forums, festivals, awards, research, publications and exhibitions that represent NLA and London's built environment community.

About the role
The role involves supporting the programme team, in several programmatic and operational aspects including event coordination, speaker liaison, preparing briefs and collating presentation materials; research and publications support, from insight gathering and submissions coordinator to proof-reading; writing meeting notes and client follow-ups and general team assistance.
Terms:
- Hours: Full time, 40 hours a week, working between 9.00am - 6.00pm. Flexible working from our City of London office, The London Centre (our public gallery) and from home/location of your choice.
- Salary: £28,000
- Location: NLA offices in the City of London (Gresham Street and The London Centre, Guildhall)

Main duties and responsibilities, what will you be doing in more detail:
- Plan and deliver allocated events, including copywriting and speaker invitations, briefing and management, and handling pre- and post-event correspondence.
- Assist in coordinating related NLA programs, including the London Festival of Architecture, London Real Estate Forum, Future City Makers, NLA Collaborate, and various award schemes.
- Collaborate with the Client Relations team to liaise with members, gather and record insights, and work with NLA's Expert Panel and Committees.
- Support the Marketing and Communications team to ensure content for the website, mailers, and social media is up-to-date and delivered on time.
- Assist the Events team in delivering the events program, including preparation, front-of-house support, and post-event analysis.
- Join internal and external meetings, take minutes, circulate actions, and ensure follow-up and completion by coordinating with various team members before meetings.
- Provide general office support, including filing, handling post, office recycling, and answering telephones.

Essential skills & experience:
- Strong knowledge and interest in architecture, planning and design in London, including related policies and regulations Basic computer skills (Office 365, including Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom).
- Experience with Apple Mac OS is desirable Good interpersonal skills, a professional telephone manner, and an excellent standard of English
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to undertake additional tasks and learn new skills
- Precision, great attention to detail and exceptional communication and time management skills
Some of NLA's events are hosted in the early mornings or into the evenings, with some events taking place on weekends, so the ability to be flexible around event days is essential.
