Your new role
This company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join their small and dynamic finance team in London City. This is a newly created role which has come about due to a slight restructure. You will assist with a broad range of duties, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Handle employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting databases.
- Support Month-End Close: Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer and supplier enquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
