Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer

On behalf of our financial services client we are currently looking for a GCP Engineer.

Task and responsibilities
o Installation of application software in test environment.
o Monitor applications and automate deployment.
o Support development and testers in issues investigation.
o Log and follow-up technical issues and liaise with Development and Infrastructure Departments.
o Provide clear, regular and consistent reporting to other members of the team.
o Identify process improvements, tasks automation, testing tools development.

Mandatory skills and experiences
o University degree an IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
o Experience in Linux environments is required
o Good knowledge of Windows operating system (start/stop/monitor of services, powershell, administration).
o Good knowledge of Oracle SQL and/or MySQL, Shell Scripting.
o Good knowledge about terraform required
o Good knowledge of one or more of the following tools is a plus: GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
o Experience with cloud technology and Infrastructure: GCP
