Your new role
As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating detailed rooftop layout drawings using AutoCAD
- Strategically positioning solar panels for optimal efficiency
- Designing cable routes and mounting systems with specialised software
- Developing comprehensive electrical schematics
- Constructing wall area drawings for equipment placement
- Designing inverter capabilities and string layouts using advanced software
- Researching and integrating new technologies to enhance cost-efficiency in designs
- A degree in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, or Product Design Engineering
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A keen interest in renewable energy technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport
