Commercial Gas Engineer to be based near Bury St Edmunds

Location: Bury St Edmunds
Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
On-Call Rota: 1 week in 4, including emergency callouts
Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 per annum

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial oil boilers.
Your tasks will include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial oil boilers.
• Managing planned and reactive tasks, which will be scheduled up to a week in advance by our scheduling team.
• Responding to emergency callouts as part of the on-call rota.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and certifications in gas engineering.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial oil boilers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
