CEO
Posted 1 day 22 hours ago by RSA
The Royal Society of Arts (RSA) seeks an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to guide our historic institution into its next chapter of social impact and innovation. Founded in 1754, the RSA has been at the forefront of positive social change, from initiating the Great Exhibition to generating educational reform. Today, we're building on this legacy to tackle the most pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges of our time.
With a global fellowship of 31,000 committed to positive change in over 110 countries and our iconic Grade 1 listed headquarters in central London, the RSA is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful transformation through collective action. Our refreshed 'Design for Life' strategy focuses on creating resilient, rebalanced, and regenerative futures where everyone can fulfil their potential.
The role demands a visionary leader who will serve as an influential ambassador for the RSA's mission and values. As CEO, you will lead a talented Executive team in delivering high-impact social change initiatives, engage with our diverse global Fellowship to leverage collective expertise, forge strategic partnerships across civil society, business, philanthropy, and the arts, and drive sustainable growth through innovative funding models.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with proven CEO-level experience and outstanding strategic capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in partnership development and fundraising, alongside compelling public speaking abilities. A deep understanding of social change principles and systems thinking is essential, as is experience in charitable or corporate governance. This is an opportunity to lead an organisation that has been innovating for over 270 years.
If you're passionate about creating lasting social impact and can transform ideas into action while building powerful coalitions for change, we want to hear from you.
